Clinical Study: Anti-Freckle: Panel of 19 treated for 8 weeks with lotion containing emblica, applied twice per day over entire face as compared to store brand vitamin C lotion. Photographs taken before and after show emblica provided more significant lightening in freckles as well as age spots compared to the store brand vitamin C. Note: The darker the spot the more pronouned results. Skin Brightening: Panel of 13 treated for 6 weeks with an emblica lotion 2% compared to hydoquinone at 2%. A photograph taken before and after show emblica was as effective as hydroquinone in the brightening of the skin.
